A. When termites take a bite out of wood, they swallow it. Sawdust is usually a sign of carpenter ants. Carpenter ants mine the wood for their nest. This mining process produces sawdust.Q. How did termites get in my house? Can I carry them in accidentally?
A. Subterranean termites live in the soil. You cannot carry them into your home. Termites travel in the ground and move from one food source to another. This is why when your neighbor's house is attacked by termites that there is a good chance that they will soon appear at your house too.
